![]() Hoss Tabrizi manages US-based client engagements for SMS. A 22-year veteran of consumer packaged goods marketing, Mr. Tabrizi has developed and implemented pricing, promotional and brand strategies for CPG Fortune-500 retailers, manufacturers and brokers over his career at Nielsen and Information Resources, Inc. (IRI). Mr. Tabrizi graduated from The University of California, Irvine in 1987 with a degree in quantitative economics and has lectured post-graduate students, industry groups and commercial organizations in the area of quantitative marketing. Mr. Tabrizi left IRI in 2008 where he was Senior Vice President of Pricing Strategy and Analytics. Prior to joining IRI, he was Country Manager of Advanced Analytics & Price Modeling for Nielsen South Africa. Mr. Tabrizi has worked closely with senior management teams at a number of major global clients including P&G, Clorox, Del Monte, Nestle, South African Breweries, Unilever, Safeway, Kroger, Kraft, Johnson & Johnson and Cadbury. He has also written a number of articles on the impact of inflation on pricing and promotional strategy, and was selected as leading analytical research executive by South African Market Research Association (SAMRA). |
